MavenLus is built by a small team of independent product reviewers with decades of combined experience. Each editor owns a category and is accountable for the final word on what we recommend.
Maya Chen — Senior Electronics & Photography Editor
Former product engineer in consumer electronics. Maya brings a technical eye to headphones, cameras, and wearable reviews — she spent 8 years in hardware engineering before switching to editorial work. She has personally tested over 300 products for MavenLus.
Alex Reeves — Tech & Home Improvement Editor
Eight years in electrical engineering. Alex has tested 250+ smart home devices and power tools, and believes that if a product can’t survive a real home environment, it has no business being recommended. He covers tech, DIY, gardening, and automotive categories.
Sarah Kim — Health, Wellness & Lifestyle Editor
Certified personal trainer with a background in nutrition coaching. Sarah owns fitness equipment and wellness products from a practitioner’s standpoint — how does it actually perform over weeks and months, not hours? She covers health, sports, food and drink, and baby product categories.
